Flex Guru and Architect

We are looking for an exceptional Flex – Air – Actionscript guru – an experienced front end web developer with a strong background in HTML, PHP programming and Linux -based web architecture.
About us:
We are a small and exciting startup, and currently featured within Adobe’s Flex Showcase, providing a full cloud based business productivity service for fledgling companies.
You will be responsible for the all aspects of the front end and have significant input both in creative and technical aspects of the user experience. You’ll be joining the company at an exciting and early stage, having the opportunity to be a key player, reporting to the directors personally.
The company is located within the buzzing West End of London. The team has a strong work ethic and is devoted to producing an extraordinary application.
About you:
You take pride in re-usable design elements and understand that the real world consists of a plethora of browsers and “standards” (i.e. test, test and test). You can multi-task and prioritise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop production-level front-end code from Photoshop design mockups
- Assist with back-end integration
Core requirements:
- 1+ years experience with Flex / Air and ActionScript
- Experience with PHP (Zend Framework a bonus)
- Experience in Object Oriented design patterns
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks
- Version control (SVN/CVS)
- Visualization/UI design experience, knowledge of usability best practices
- Extensive experience in cross-browser development techniques, browser degradation strategies
- Experience working in Unix environment, source control, and bug tracking tools
- Desire to work in a fast paced startup environment
- Comfortable helping with feature design sessions and working with business stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to fulfill multiple roles
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with Zend AMF
- Experience with mapping APIs (Google Maps, Google Earth, Live/Bing Maps, etc.)
- Experience with Facebook Connect / FBML
- Experience with mobile applications and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
