Sprout is an internet software company that allows brands to quickly create rich media brand experiences that are easily transportable across Facebook, MySpace and other social networks and environments without needing expensive development resources. Sprout customers include Disney, Toyota, Coke, MySpace, Intel, Sony Pictures, and Universal Pictures to name a few.

Sprout is looking for an outstanding senior Flex UI engineer to work with our design gurus to create applications and components that will be viewed and used by millions of people on a daily basis. If you’ve worked on high-impact, cutting-edge Flash-based user interfaces before, we’re looking for you! We’re not just looking for a good coder—although that’s required, we expect you to adhere to the highest design sensibilities, treating every pixel as sacred and examining every user interaction with a finely-toothed comb.

A Sprout Software Engineer is innovative by nature. You enjoy solving problems, are driven and take pride in your work. You have the ability to think and work independently, make deadlines with little supervision—put another way: You get stuff done. You document major additions and functional changes to created work. You enjoy mentoring those seeking your guidance. We believe that excellent user interface and graphic design are necessary to build world-changing products. And because we make tools that allow creative people to be expressive, we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard than if we were simply building run-of-the-mill consumer software products. You would help us create things that allow people to be creative in ways that have not existed before.

Your skills and experience:

• Expert-level proficiency with ActionScript 3 and the Flex 3 SDK
• Fluent with Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Experience with creating code, components, and graphics from specifications
• Worked in version-controlled team development settings
• Worked with creative directors to define, build, and refine products
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience
