Sprout is an internet software company that allows brands to quickly create rich media brand experiences that are easily transportable across Facebook, MySpace and other social networks and environments without needing expensive development resources. Sprout customers include Disney, Toyota, Coke, MySpace, Intel, Sony Pictures, and Universal Pictures to name a few.

Sprout is looking for an outstanding software engineer to help pave to road for our rich media artifacts to find their way into Advertising Networks, Exchanges and beyond.

A Sprout Software Engineer is innovative by nature. You enjoy solving problems, are driven and take pride in your work. You have the ability to think and work independently, make deadlines with little supervision—put another way: You get stuff done. You document major additions and functional changes to created work. You enjoy mentoring those seeking your guidance.

Your skills and experience:

• Expert-level proficiency with Java and/or PHP
• Experience with Display Advertising technologies including interaction with Ad Servers, Networks, Exchanges and APIs to those
• Experience with web architecture and internet-based software using HTML, HTTP, XML, and CSS
• Experience with relational database technology and web application servers/containers
• Experience in software engineering teams using agile development methodologies
• BS Computer Science or a combination of education and relevant experience

Job Location: Honolulu, San Francisco or telecommute for certain candidates.
