This is a position on the web marketing team. You will build and deploy web applications world wide in 16 localizations, taking rapid deployment to a whole new level. Everyday we use Flex, Flash, AIR, AJAX, PHP, Java, XML/XSLT, REST, ActiveX and .NET to bring NVIDIA's cutting edge GPU technologies, social communities, and marketing campaigns to life in the browser or desktop.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge & Skills (COMPETENCIES) Required:
- Ability to develop and enhance web-based business applications
- Ability to solve problems and trouble shoot to provide solutions
- Object Oriented Methodology development knowledge
- Database architecture
- Advanced SQL skills
- Knowledge of Data Modeling Concepts
- Unix and NT Systems knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of testing and QA procedures
- Ability to work autonomously with very limited supervision as well as collaboratively with others.
- Ability to manage individual projects and some small projects in team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Java/PHP Web Application Development skills:
- Knowledge & skills of Java, JSP, Struts 2, J2EE (JBoss preferred), PHP, AJAX, XML, Flex
- UNIX and NT Systems knowledge
- Development tools knowledge: ANT, Subversion, JUnit, DB Unit, Flex Unit, Maven, Perforce
- Frameworks: Flex (Cairngorm, Mate) PHP (AMFPHP, Pear), AJAX(Prototype, Scriptaculous, Jquery), Java (Hibernate, Spring, BlazeDS)
Education & Experience Required:
- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) required.
- Computer Science or related technical discipline
Must have hands-on experience with Flex and AJAX technologies.
- 7-10 years experience
- Minimum of 8 years general technical experience; minimum of 6 years applications development experience and object oriented programming experience
- 5-7 years experience with Java, JSP, MSSQL, MySQL; UNIX, and NT Systems experience
- 3-5 years experience with J2EE, Spring, AJAX, , XML, REST/SOAP/JSON, Hibernate/Ibatis
- 2-3 years of experience with Flex, PureMVC, Blaze DS, AMFPHP
- 3-5 years with server side platforms, Red Hat, Apache Http Server and JBoss
- Development tools experience ANT, Subversion, Maven, Junit/DbUnit/FlexUnit, Eclipse, Flex Builder
- 3-5 years PHP experience, object oriented PHP preferably.
