full time C#.NET Web Developer

This position is located in the UK and REQUIRES a Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Designs, develops and maintains web based applications using CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET 3.5, AJAX, XML, XSLT and SQL Server 2005/2008 Enterprise. Collaborates with graphic artists to develop content driven Web pages and Applications that are exciting and easy to use. Responsible for creating and maintaining a highly innovative content sharing portal/WebTop. Gathers and documents software requirements from customers to develop highly usable interfaces that meet business requirements. Candidate possesses strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.

7+ years web development experience with front-end web development technologies including: JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.

5+ years of experience developing Web Applications using C# ASP.NET, focused on the UI development; ASP MVC Framework is preferred

Outstanding skills and proven expertise in server side scripting technologies

Proven expertise in standards compliant layouts (XHTML)

Experience using 3rd Party Code JavaScript Libraries

Proven ability to work with standard graphics packages such as Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of Internet protocols and their uses in application development

Knowledge of Internet and Intranet security standards and strategies

Familiarity with ASP MVC Framework

Familiarity with Adobe Flash/Flex/ActionScript (non-timeline based development) or similar RIA platforms

Google API / Desktop & Gadgets

Agile methodologies, Microsoft Team Foundation Systems

Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be able to achieve ITIL Foundation Certification and Security+ Certification within six months of hire.

15% travel requirement. Full State Department Cost of living allowance provided in addition to salary.

The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
