Web Analyst
•This exciting opportunity is to join a newly formed team within a leading telecommunications organisation.
•The team will bring together individuals with cross functional skills sets including analytics, data planning, user experience, design and project management with the remit to identify and implement strategy on the organisations website at a fast paced.
•The work you will undertake for team is varied and typically focused on delivering value through the development strategy or recommendations based on performance evaluation
Key responsibilities
•Provide day to day web analytic support for project team
•Utilise tools such as Webtrends, Omniture, Watch fire, Double click, Hitwise
•Input to website tagging process and playbooks
•Complete ad-hoc analysis which provides clear, concise, action oriented recommendations
•Work with Data Planners to create analysis briefs, run analysis and input findings to presentations.
•Assist in transforming web analytics data into insightful and actionable recommendations
Candidate Requirements
•Strong drive for results – ability to get things done independently with minimum direction
•Proven track record working and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
•Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into well structured and simple to understand presentations and recommendations
•Good interpersonal skills – works well with team members and customers
•Good Excel knowledge and experience creating reporting and dashboards
•Previous experience of tagging and playbooks
•Minimum three years experience working with web analytics tools (Webtrends and Omniture)
•Degree educated ideally business management including statistics, mathematics
•Awareness of online marketing disciplines and how they contribute to customer acquisition, conversion and retention
•Previous consulting experience would be an advantage
•Previous experience of working with User Experience teams would be an advantage
