Digital Strategist - Pharmaceutical Marketing

Position: Digital Strategist - Pharmaceutical Marketing
Skills: Our international consultancy client is looking for an experienced Digital Strategist with solid Pharmaceutical Industry experience. The successful candidate will lead the Digital strategy for our pharmaceutical clients and be an authority on all emerging digital media and their role within the Pharma marketing mix.
The Digital Strategist need to be experienced in developing digital strategies based on customer insights and trend analysis, while advancing brand objectives. You'll take responsibility for identifying insights that lead to outstanding creative work and contribute to broader marketing issues.
Essentially, the Digital Strategist will take responsibility of driving our clients business through all relevant digital channels.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed evaluation of client marketing environment including capabilities/assets, brand ambitions, customer needs, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats within the digital space.
Proactively offer strategic direction to clients on a regular basis.
Understand and be effective at communicating creative concepts.
Developing marketing strategy and plans for the digital strategic capabilities
Defining and communicating user propositions to creative teams and the client
Overseeing the ongoing analysis of marketing effectiveness and performance reporting
Conduct research and analysis that will determine and describe target users, audience, or consumers
Analyze web analytics, user paths, user feedback/surveys, and usability study results
Work in conjunction with digital account team, creative resources and programme management
Ability to translate trends, technologies and metrics into conversational English
Experience Guidelines:
Good knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market, especially within Europe
Digital Pharma marketing experience within an agency or from within industry on the client side.
Detailed ABPI and EFPIA Codes of Practice knowledge
Deep knowledge of digital marketing and the full range of marketing tools and techniques
A solid understanding of the technology and tools available to drive digital campaigns forward
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of the latest qualitative research and analysis techniques
Strong analytical and process-oriented problem-solving skills
Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly-matrixed organization
