Full-time Sr. Java/Flex Developer, NYC | 120-150k

This is a full time, on-site, salaried position in New York City paying $120,000 to $150,000 + benefits. US Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD or CAN only please. Local candidates preferred, but will relo a rock star =) Thank you.

Our client is seeking a senior level architect/developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry. The role is in the trading flow analysis area which covers development of visually appealing analysis applications. Most of the applications are written using FLEX on the front-end with Java in the middle tier and C++ on the back-end. Among the application suite are industry leading applications that are deployed externally. The role requires an understanding of the financial markets and a fair amount of interaction with the business client. Ideal candidates would have at least 5 years of Java experience and some experience with FLEX.

Skills Required:
Java, Flex, Financial

Skills Desired:
Java Spring, Sybase, Unix shell scripting
Experience with building Financial applications
Extensive FLEX and LCDS experience is a plus
Experience with KDB is a plus
