Senior User Experience / User Interface Designer

We are looking for a senior user experience (UX) design professional who wants to play a lead role in building the next generation of our web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be a designer that will participate in user interface design and implementation for creative Rich Internet Applications (RIA) implemented using Adobe (Flash, Flex, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) development tools and products. If you have a proven track record of designing elegant, easy to use web applications that empower regular people to perform complex tasks, we want you.
Requirements
- A user experience design expert well grounded in the principles of usability and user centered design with at least 5 years experience as a professional user experience designer
- Excellence in translating user requirements into innovative design sketches, wireframes, prototypes and written specifications as needed to help translate your ideas into production
- Ability to guide a product from initial concept all the way through to production and post launch evaluation
- While this is not a software developer position, you should have up to date knowledge of web technologies, tools and trends that can be used to form our products
- A team player who knows how to work with diverse stakeholders and world-class developers
- Facilitation and consensus building skills
- Ability to execute usability tests and other user-centered design research methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Expert in Adobe CS
- US citizen
It would also be great if you have
- Usability analysis and process modeling experience
- Previous military experience
