Rich Internet Application (RIA) Developer (Flex) – must have a portfolio to show us

General responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Adobe Flex / ActionScript presentation code for consumer facing website.
  • Work with backend developers to integrate back-end code
  • Collaborate with technical staff on development projects and manage front end bugs
  • Work with version control systems, and setup your own development ports/environments

  • Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree required. Degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of principles of desktop application development as well as web development
  • Experience with Adobe Flex / ActionScript 3, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, and AJAX
  • General knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with source/version control systems
  • Experience generating functional specifications
  • Experience estimating development schedules from bug-level to mid-sized projects
  • US citizenship or permanent residence
  • Must have an online portfolio to supply with resume for consideration
