Our client, a Global Media Company is looking for a 2 UI Developers. A junior to mid-level candidate to $80,000 and a senior-level candidate to $120,000. These are full time, on-site, salaried positions with benefits located in New York City. Local candidates are only being considered at this time.

• Candidates with ADVERTISING AGENCY experience are only being considered at this time **
• Strong CSS, JavaScript and Flash (including ActionScript) is key **

DUTIES:

• Developing standards-compliant, cross-browser web pages in (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Conduct Section 508 assessments and providing remediation recommendations
• Performing website content maintenance
• Developing HTML/CSS templates for new sites
• Improving code standardization and quality for existing products
• Using frameworks and libraries to make UI development more efficient
• Taking direction from and collaborating with visual designers, information architects and application developers

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• HTML or XHTML experience
• Expert in current web technologies – (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc
• Ability to develop (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including AJAX), Adobe Flash (including ActionScript)
• Familiarity with information architecture and interaction design principles
• Proven excellence in creating accessible, intuitive and bug-free user interfaces
• Ability to collaborate effectively and actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Working URLs or an online portfolio demonstrating previous accomplishments is required
• Excellent communication and people skills required
