Sr. RIA Developer (Flex)

We are seeking a Sr. Rich Internet Applications / Flex Developer to help build a bleeding-edge consumer cloud media platform. The RIA Developer will be responsible for delivering an innovative, media-driven web experience, working both autonomously and in conjunction with other members of the project team. Our web interface is a key component in a novel, multi-platform cloud media product. The successful candidate will be joining an established 'skunkworks' project which enjoys the strength and resources of an established organization coupled with the dynamic of a start-up.
Candidate Description:
- Expert in web development from concept to code with an excellent intuition for user interfaces and the user experience.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and constructively in a small, focused team.
- Loves music, familiar with the digital media / music landscape, and a potential user of the product.
- Familiarity with agile methods – including test automation, iterative delivery and continuous integration.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Mastery of Flex / ActionScript.
-Strong portfolio of previous work.
-Advanced skills in some of the following: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery.
- Exposure to modern web frameworks (including Ruby/Rails), and RDBMS.
- Knowledge of current and emerging web standards.
- Experience with UI test automation tools (Selenium, Watir) is a plus.
