Our client, an innovative start-up company bringing an exciting new messaging product to market, currently has an urgent need for a Sr. Flex/Flash Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an on the rise company at the ground floor starting as an on-going consulting engagement followed by a strong possibility of conversion to full-time employment after an initial 6 month period.
Reporting directly to company’s entrepreneurial leader, the Senior Flex Developer will be responsible for translating strategic customer experience objectives into a new multi-media experience using effective design solutions.
Requirements:
Ability to architect and code interactive designs in Flash, Flex and HTML to engage site users.
Experience with Flex3 SDK, ActionScript 3.0, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Strong understanding of visual interface design systems and elements, new page design layouts, typography, photography/imagery, buttons, promotions, rich-media (Flash), design templates and other graphical needs.
Familiar with cross browser, cross platform development
Must have excellent communication skills and work well with other team members
Nice To Have Skills:
Development of applications leveraging advanced Actionscript 3.0 programming with other technologies such as Web Services & Ajax
XML integration with Flash and other web-based scripting languages.
Experience integrating HTML & Ajax into Flash.
