This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing front-end UI components of web software applications to create satisfying user experience.

• Lead web front-end user interface design and implementation
• Develop and optimize front-end UI functionality to ensure web application rendered consistently in cross browsers environment
• Develop functional prototypes from wireframes and mockups, and create proper documentations
• Work with stakeholders to understand and document software requirements, and ensure application UI meets functional requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and software engineers to refine and improve the user experience
• Partner with peers in software engineering to ensure that interactive techniques and technologies translate through to world class products and services
• Plan, coordinate, and execute UI unit testing
• Coordinate and work closely with other project teams (QA and Database)

• Follow industry trends with regard to front-end technologies and techniques

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

3-5 years experience in design and implementing web application UI, and improving user experience

• Strong hands-on skills and experience in JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, and cross-browser compatibility
• Advanced understanding of and extensive experience with AJAX frameworks and JavaScript
• Strong ability to take mockups and create high-performance web pages that meet the design and technical specifications
• Significant experience in front-end web pages optimization techniques
• In-depth understanding of common web application UI issues and challenges, web UI best practice and emerging trend and technologies
• Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework and technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio (preferably 2005 or later)

• Strong knowledge and experience with custom application development and agile SDLC

Education

• BA/BS degree
