THE OPPORTUNITY:
SocialVision is looking for an amazing Flash/Flex Developer that will help develop innovative social experiences around video. You will write custom components and make things that have never been done on a video site before, happen.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Rapidly design and implement maintainable, Flex code. Architect and write the client-side code and work with the team to figure out testing plans, backend integration, and chat/XMPP integration.
Responsibilities
• Create database object relational model for storing information about users and events in a way that can easily be extended later without changing database structure.
• Manage collection and storage of large volumes of new data (terabytes per month)
• Performance tuning of database according to usage needs.
• Architect retrieval and display of collected data into SocialVision’s 4-dimensional Viewing Parties analytics engine.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of building highly extensible and flexible data architectures for applications where the data that needs to be stored can change.
• Experience with Object Relational Models for relational databases
• Experience archiving and mining information from large datasets
