full time Intermediate or Advanced Flash/Flex Developer

Our mission is to make online television more fun and interactive by creating new social experiences around it. THE OPPORTUNITY:

SocialVision is looking for an amazing Flash/Flex Developer that will help develop innovative social experiences around video. You will write custom components and make things that have never been done on a video site before, happen.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Rapidly design and implement maintainable, Flex code. Architect and write the client-side code and work with the team to figure out testing plans, backend integration, and chat/XMPP integration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience with Flash and Flex
• Understanding of and experience with UI architectures (e.g. Cairngorm)
• Deep understanding of Flex component lifecycle
• Experience working with design to implementation workflow using Adobe tools (FXG/Catalyst a plus)
• Ability to quickly write high performing code that is easy to maintain and performs well
• An eye for designing appealing pages that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the product.
• Understanding of how to write code that performs well in environments where resources are limited.
