Candidates should have:

- Deep understanding of XMPP protocol, BOSH, other extensions

- Has worked with or deployed a production XMPP server setup before (ejabberd w/ clustering, or OpenFire, etc.)

- Knowledge to load test a server setup, both for XMPP traffic, regular HTTP requests, database queries, etc.

- Knowledge with tuning and configuring databases
