Configuration Management Lead

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serves as an expert technical source for software configuration management issues within the company.
•Understand the program and users' CM needs by meeting with, and listening, to those stakeholders. Make recommendation on how to satisfy those needs. Plan and oversee the adoption of Subversion from the existing PVCS Version Manager CM tool. User population typically comprises of 100+ concurrent users including software engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Business Analysts and managers.
•Guide the patching and upgrading of Subversion
•Guide the Identification of, improvement to, and deployment of software configuration practices within the program across several different projects.
•Act as a resource for developers and provide guidance and training on tools and process as needed.
•Install and configure applications in the deployment and test environment
•Maintain documentation of company SCM practices
•Guide the development of software build procedures
