COG1 is an interactive advertising agency. For the last 8 years, www.COG1.com has created interactive campaigns for the entertainment industry. Clients include: IFC, HBO, MTV, PlayStation, Miramax, EA Games, etc.

Job Summary
You’ll work hand in hand with the design team and other engineers to architect and develop a wide range of applications, services and multi-media experiences for entertainment brands.

Responsibilities: * Serve as the technical leader for a small team of interactive designers and developers. * Quickly learn new technologies as needed to develop bleeding edge sites * Define technical requirements for projects and adapt to changing demands of clients * Be a “Jack of all Trades” who can develop technical solutions to unique problems as they arise. * Specify best practices and ensure they are followed by the team.

Qualifications: * 4+ years professional development experience with a proven track record of projects * Experience building XML-driven client-server applications * Expert knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and Object Oriented Programming with Design Patterns * Ability to interface well with Flash/Traditional Graphic Designers * Intermediate-level HTML, CSS and JavaScript * Familiarity with at least one server-side programming language, preferably PHP. * Comfortable building applications in both FlexBuilder and the Flash IDE

Nice to Have * 3D Graphics Experience: Papervision, Sandy, Away 3D, Open GL or Unity 3D… * Drupal development/administration * jQuery or some other AJAX framework * Facebook API * Flash Remoting (e.g. WebOrb) * SQL databases * Unix command line * iPhone / Mobile device development * Four-year college degree in Computer Science or similar field.
