Summary
This position is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of St. Bernard’s appliance platform User Interface.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Participates in the design, implementation and maintenance of the UI for our appliance platform.
•Supports the iPrism and product lines.
•Interfaces with other development teams, technical support, quality assurance and product management.
•Occasionally interfaces with external resources such as customers, partners and contractors.
•Other duties as required.
Requirements And Experience
•4-year degree in Computer Science and or equivalent level of experience.
•3+ years of experience with Unix or Linux, with a preference for BSD (FreeBSD or other).
•3+ years of experience with open source software development.
•3+ years of experience developing user interfaces, with at least 1 year of development using Adobe FLEX.
•Proficient with TCP/IP.
•Knowledge of source control and bug tracking (e.g. SVN and Bugzilla).
•Strong knowledge of SQL.
•Strong in HTML, JavaScript, Java, Perl, Shell. WSL/Catalyst a plus.
