We have an extensive list of corporate clients that is growing rapidly, and to meet demand we are looking to expand our Adobe Flex – Java development resources.

Key Skills:

Quickcomm is seeking an experienced Flex developer- with a passion for building amazing User Experiences in web base applications.

(Adobe Flex 3 SDK and Flex Builder, ActionScript 3.0, XML, HTML/XHTML, CSS, and OOD in MVC)

It would be desirable for the developer to have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Java to enable them to complete end to end development activities.

(J2EE, JBoss, Spring, AMF, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL Server)

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features in our enterprise Flex Rich Internet Application (RIA)
• Join the web development team to design reusable XML APIs
• Join the UI design team to develop a Flex application

Requirements:

• Passion for building out of this world UI
• Adobe Flex 3 SDK and the Flex Builder environment (2+ years)
• XML/HTML/XHTML/CSS
• OOD/Patterns
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for capturing user requirements and translating to solid solutions
• Goal-oriented and deadline-oriented

Desirable:

• J2EE (2+ years)
• Experience in dealing with/working in large corporate culture
• IIS/ASP.net (1+ years)

This is a full time position in our New York, NY office.
