at Angelica Johnson (Anywhere)
- Goals:
o A visually pleasing, interactive application allowing users to completely customize an exotic supercar with various body styles, accessories, and colors.
o A base model supercar with several customizable parts. (rims, wheels, doors, decals, front-ends, rear-ends, windows, brake calipers, mirrors, interior parts, exhaust, engines, etc .)
o These parts change as the user hovers over the desired part choices.
o Different exhaust choices will determine different sounds. This must be heard when exhaust choices are made.
o Each part/accessory will have a price which will need to be added to the base price displayed somewhere within the application layout.
o The supercar will pivot slightly as the user makes adjustments.
o The view and angle of the customized car will be manipulated by the user to be analyzed.
o A user will have the option to save his/her supercar in their “factory”. At this point the user will be asked to sign-up or login. Their customizations to their car must be saved through their registration process.
o A user will submit their final choices to their “garage” to purchase their car online.
- Standards:
o Flex, AS3, Flash, PHP, & MySQL development only unless otherwise approved.
o Completely Data-source Driven. All parts of car must be interchangeable and expandable for new designs/innovations to be plugged in.
o Complete and Professionally Documented Source Code. Every Class, function, and complex section clearly documented in sentence form.
o High Performance on most Internet devices (All PC’s, Mac’s, and most popular hand held internet-friendly devices). It must be as light weight as possible for obvious performance reasons.
o True picture perfect graphic design. Proper balance of Class and Wow factor.
o Application will be developed in stages. Payments will be made at the completion of each phase. Phases and deadlines will be determined by the Developer.
o Weekly Conference Calls to discuss application progress and challenges.
- Developer Qualifications:
o Example Applications displaying the ability to develop such an application.
o 3-5+ years Experience RIA Development .
o High Level of Character and Innovation with communication skills.
o A very Special Freelancer and/or Talented and Dedicated Team.
- Supplies:
o Photos of each car and part (at specific angles) will be provided at the developer’s request by a professional photographer. A few parts will need to be fabricated, but proper illustrations will be provided.
