Full-time UI (Flex) Developer (Contract)

at Modis, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA

We have an immediate opening for a Flex Developer. This is a 6-month+ contract position (may convert to employee at some point), and all work must be done onsite. Sorry, no remote work. Here's a quick overview of what we're looking for:

Required Skills:
• Solid experience developing dynamic UI's utilizing Adobe Flash, Flex and Actionscript
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Experience with Javascript
• Experience with Ajax
• Experience with browser compatibility issues

• Experience coding web services

Plus Skills:
• Experience with web traffic load balancing
• Experience in C/C++ programming
• Experience with compression or audio/video codecs
