Flex Web Designer - Virtual Project

Flex Guru - Web/Graphics Designer
Working for a Consulting company that does Custom Software Development, Hosting, and IT Support, this person will be the “go to” authority on all Web and Graphics Design. MUST have extensive experience with Adobe’s Flex, and be very skilled in all aspects of Web and Graphics Design.
This is a virtual/work from home consulting assignment, so successful candidates will have to be set up to work remotely (Internet connection, Design software installed on computer, able to attend regular conference calls and/or web conferences, etc.)
Experience level isn’t the deciding factor – creativity and proven skills are what are needed!
Responsibilities
• Design and evaluate visual human interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles
• Work with other project developers to design usable and memorable interactive experiences
• Communicate experience strategy through visually impressive and detailed site maps, wireframes, task flow diagrams, and other documentation
• Design for accessible, search engine optimized (SEO), and mobile experiences
• Create and optimize experiences for landing pages and micro-sites to support interactive marketing and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns
Requirements
• Exceptional design skills demonstrated by a world-class portfolio
• Website design experience in a corporate or agency setting
• Experience designing graphics and interactive multimedia for e-commerce websites
• Advanced experience and knowledge of Flex
• Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products and programs
• Fluent in Flash and Action Script
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS
• Great communication skills and attention to detail
• .NET programming experience a big plus
