Lead Flex/Air Engineer

We are looking for an Engineer to head up the engineering team within a high profile media project.

Requirement:
•Top level AS3, Flex3 skills
•Strong experience building Flex-based scalable applications
•Previous experience working with video in Flash
•Full understanding of regression testing methodologies including AS3 Unit testing frameworks
•High level of understanding of OOP, MVC, UML
•Previous Air platform experience
•Very good communication and mentoring skills
•Previous experience as Lead Developer on an iteratively developed Flex-based application
•Good knowledge of web-based technologies


Responsibilities within team:
•Reporting to Media Product Lead
•Architecture (code level)
•Definition and team tasks based on wider objectives set by Product Lead
•Mentoring
•Task estimation and velocity tracking
•Raising software and hardware requests
•Code quality
•Regression testing (unit tests only)
