Flex Developer needed urgently
at Universal Software Corporation in Massachusetts
Senior Flex Developer
Location: MA
Duration: 6 months
Key Skills:
Adobe Flex 2 SDK and the Flex Builder environment, ActionScript 3.0, XML, HTML/XHTML and OOD.
The Client is looking for a Senior Flex Developer to join our development team working on the next generation of our On-Demand Workspace product.
Responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise Flex RIA application for Financial Markets.
• Work with web development team to design reusable XML APIs.
• Work with UI design team to develop Flex compatible screens.
Requirements:
• Ideal Flex candidate will demonstrate knowledge of:
o Adobe Flex 2 SDK and the Flex Builder environment
o ActionScript 3.0
o XML
o HTML/XHTML
o OOD
• History in Java web development and related technologies considered a big plus, including:
o Servlets, JSP
o JDBC, Hibernate, EJB
o Application Server Experience (WebLogic, Tomcat, Resin, etc)
• A good understanding of the SDLC.
• Will consider candidates with other RIA technology experience, so long as they have a solid Java web development background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Passionate "do whatever it takes" attitude.
• Goal-oriented and deadline-oriented.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
