Senior FLEX Developer
Job description
StreamTheWorld is looking for a Senior FLEX Developer to fill a permanent position within the development team.
The chosen candidate will part of a team that is responsible for the development of a content management platform. Main responsibilities will be focused on the implementation of solutions destined to StreamTheWorld external clients and therefore will spend 90% of his/her time in a FLEX editor.
Main responsibilities
• Implement interfaces and specifications established at the architecture and analysis phase;
• Participate and collaborate to the elaboration of the architecture;
• Act as a mentor to other team members and support team daily;
• Test (at the development phase) and correct detected abnormalities (at the QA phase);
• Give the necessary support to the operations team and document instructions in order to insure a smooth transition at the production phase;
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent experience;
• 2 years experience in FLEX and Action Script 3 development;
• 2 years experience in user interface development (i.e. with Swing/AWT)
• 5 years experience in computer technologies;
• Knowledge of BlazeDS and/or LiveCycleDS;
• Excellent knowledge of object oriented development;
• Initiative and resourcefulness;
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML;
• Knowledge of JAVA would be an important asset.
