Smartpath Software is a leading software vendor, focused in the Asset Management, Help Desk, and Maintenance Management space. Smartpath’s premier product, Loc8, is an Adobe Flex based Rich Internet Application and aligned with Smartpath’s recent growth we are looking for Flex or Flash User Interface developers and designers.
You will be part of a highly experienced, world class software production team leveraging the best in design patterns, enterprise frameworks, and software production methodologies. To be successful in gaining this role you will have the follow skills:
* Strong user interface design opinions * Experience in drawing and storyboarding * Experience in user interface design and implementation, or experience in computer art and painting. * A portfolio of design work (perferably commercial work) * A good understanding of Flash / Flex and Actionscript 2.0 or 3.0 * Exposure to Java Enterprise Edition (desired, but not essential) * Have excellent problem solving skills and methodologies * Experience with manipulating graphics for web-based visualization and user interfaces * Exposure and understanding to Model View Controller design patterns and frameworks is a plusAlthough it is preferable that you posses experience in Flash and Flex, we are open to hearing from designers and artists who are looking for the next step in their career. Be aware, however, that the role does require an understanding of software language constructs and problem solving.
