Full-time Course Developer / Programmer

We are looking for a Flex Developer to join our team in helping to produce leading edge training products. Candidates must have a very good strong understanding in developing reusable components in Flex 3.0.


•Conduct web-based development in Flex
•Program applications using Flex components, forms, and other types of Flex objects
•Assemble and integrate interface components, games, and quizzes in different applications and eLearning courses
•Use dynamic XML content in application interfaces
•Define, implement, and reuse eLearning templates
•Plan and organize the project and related deadlines with the other members of the development team
•Communicate with technical staff at client businesses, when required
•Develop, evolve, and maintain design standards.
•Have a passion for design, usability, and innovation
•Design and build original concepts based on business guidelines.
•Possess the ability to create outstanding work while meeting deadlines for several simultaneous projects
•Participate in brainstorming and creative meetings along with other team members
•Learn quickly and function well in fast-paced production environment


Preferred:
•Formal training/studies in Computer Science or a related discipline
•Expert in a major OO language (preferably C#)
•2 years of experience in web/multimedia development
•Mastery of Flex 2.0/3.0 and Flash
•Strong knowledge of Actionscript 3.0, XML, CSS, & JavaScript
•Object- oriented design and modeling
•Team oriented and autonomous
•Ability to work under tight deadlines
•Excellent documentation skills
•Leadership skills
•Formal training/studies in Computer Science or a related discipline

Nice to have:
•Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM, AICC, and Learning Management Systems
•Structured development environment process
•RAD Techniques (Rapid Development)
•Source control software (SVN)
•Should have strong visual design skills and a flair for developing UI components.
