39 Degrees North is a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) consulting company specializing in design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions. We deliver GIS solutions in a variety of cutting edge platforms including Flex, Silverlight, .NET in desktop, web and mobile environments.

We are looking for a highly-motivated developer who can work in a team environment on challenging projects that require innovative thinking. These include products currently in development and new products. This is a full time position in Bloomington, Indiana. You will work with a motivated group of people in a very friendly environment with options of flexible work hours in the future. We might consider candidates who want to telecommute part of the time.

Key Qualifications
Proven experience with ActionScript 3.0 and Flex 3 framework; 2+ years experience preferred
Understanding of MVC (Model View Controller) architectural patterns in Flex , experience with flex frameworks that use MVC development – Swiz in particular

Optional
Experience in developing flex applications that have mapping components like Google Maps or Yahoo Maps
