Staff Software Engineer (FLEX and Action Script)

Join Intuit’s Accounting Professionals Division developing connected services for customers. Successful candidate will aid in the design and implementation of services and features, bringing best of breed solutions to Intuit customers. Responsibilities include implementation of forward looking designs focused on standardizing systems, integration with back-end systems, high availability, security, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of programming experience in web-based and distributed technologies.
- Extensive experience with Java, JEE, Hibernate, Apache Velocity, WebServices, Service Oriented Architecture
- Extensive experience with Flex and Action Script
- LCDS experience a PLUS
- Experience effectively using UML for analysis and design.
- Experience with engineering for high capacity, web-enabled solutions including database design, schema construction, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work through obstacles to help teams “get the job done.”
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
