Flex Developer

This is a full time position based in the Zeit Solutions offices in the Kerry Technology Park, Tralee, Co. Kerry. The successful candidate will take on the role of Flex Developer, becoming a key member of the development team with great career prospects.
We are a small web development company that produces end-to-end solutions for our clients, mainly in the media industry. Photography, news and content-based advertising are our key areas of expertise. We are passionate about providing effective, standards based applications that allow our clients to improve and expand their businesses.
Due to a full project book for 2009 we are looking to expand the development team with the addition of an extra Developer to our team, specializing in Flex. The key requirements of this role are:
• 3+ years Web development experience (PHP a distinct advantage)
• 1+ years Flex programming with Actionscript
• Thorough knowledge of XHTML, XML, CSS and Javascript
• Appreciation for good UI and creative thinking
• Good communication skills vital
• Ability to work unsupervised and function within a team environment
• Ability to flourish in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
Desirable:
• Experience with Web Services
• Operating knowledge of Linux OS
• Experience with MySQL or SQL server
