Javascript developer for browser-based music application

Media Service Provider has been working with ISPs and the music industry to offer ISP customers groundbreaking levels of access to digital music—and a groundbreaking user interface to match.
Tasked with delivering an innovative, browser-based music application to a large audience, it’s critical that we are able to deliver a reliable, responsive and fun user experience across a range of modern browsers. As a key addition to our development team, you’ll be central to this effort.
The role would suit a Javascript guru who enjoys the challenge of developing a real thick-client application in the browser. It may also suit someone from a desktop application or server-side web application development background, eager to make the leap into browser-based applications.
Prospective candidates may be pleased to hear that we’re not required to support IE6 ;)
Required skills:
- Solid software development background
- Knows Javascript, CSS and the DOM inside out
- Object-oriented patterns for user interface development (need I mention MVC?)
And some nice-to-haves:
- Dojo toolkit
- RESTful APIs
- Browser-based unit and integration testing
- Server-side scripting and development with Ruby
- Server push technologies and chat
- An interest in music
