RIA Developer - Pushing the abilities of Flex
at Seemlux in South Orange County, CA

We want you to help us integrate new clients and help keep us on the leading edge with cool functionality and offerings.
We are looking for experienced Sr. Software Developers to assist us in further development of our automated business technology and have a little fun along the way. We’re seeking individuals interested in long-term employment as part of a fun, dynamic, and dedicated team who share our passion for developing consumer-oriented web applications with high back-end scalability. We wear many hats, so if you’re a know-it-all, in programming, not attitude, we would love to talk to you. We have several openings so it is not necessary to know everything, but please note your competency level in each.
Required Skills:
- Flash, Actionscript
- PHP, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS and AJAX (preferably PHP 5)
- Object Oriented Programming
- MySQL, PostgreSQL (preferably MySQL 5)
- Ability to learn new languages
Desired Skills:
- Unix/Linux, Apache, server administration knowledge a plus
- FLEX programming experience a huge plus
- System design and architecture for enterprise level deployment
- 5 + years as a Web application developer using LAMP standards
- 5 years developing multi-tier applications in a business environment
- Capable of translating complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to create process flow diagrams and flowcharts using Visio or similar charting tool.
- Data Modeling and file system design.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Acute attention to detail, good written and verbal communications skills
- Any desktop publishing knowledge a plus
What You Will Be Doing:
- Integration with outside companies, for two way communication via XML
- Develop e-commerce applications
- Work hands-on in the development of web applications - Flash, XML, PHP
- Ability to work independently - this is a true Senior level or Lead position
- Work closely with technology team as a contributor and project manager
- Learning Flex while on the job
- Work with and provide leadership to members of third party development teams
