full time Multimedia Specialist

InVision Learning is a developer of custom e-Learning applications, simulations, courseware and Learning Management Systems. InVision is currently seeking a Multimedia Specialist to create leading-edge interactive multimedia and web-based eLearning applications.

The ideal candidate will be interested in learning and multimedia with an emphasis on programming. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative thinker who is able to work independently and as part of a team of instructional designers, programmers and writers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.


• Must have aptitude for “Multimedia”, and willing to multitask with a focus on programming.
• Will have a focus on graphic production, and sound design
• Provide full production support
• Formatting online course content
• Developing Web page layouts
• Creating Web-based animations
• Demonstrable expertise in creating Flash animations and web graphics (must provide a sample of your work)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design
• Knowledge of least one other object-oriented language

Skills/ Qualifications

• Should be able to show proficiency with the Flash authoring tool
• Must demonstrate examples made in Flash. Those examples should demonstrate use of components and actionscript
• Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate
• Extremely motivated, creative and imaginative
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills and an eye for
detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Be a creative thinker with interests in a wide variety of subjects

Education/Experience Requirements:

BS/BA degree

Must be able to provide sample Flash files
