Sr. Adobe Flex Developer (Contract)

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) techniques, design patterns, and development approaches including Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration. Must have the ability to design, develop and implement high-quality code in a timely manner. The person will work in a team environment with other developers to develop user interfaces and underlying data structures using Flex & Actionscript. The developer will utilize a custom framework and detailed requirements to code applications to corporate standards, while this is a programming position there may be some design work as well.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
• 2 years experience in Flex and AS3 is required. A demonstration of Object-Oriented best practices will be an essential part of the interview.
• Candidate must be able to and prepared to supply sample codes during the interview
• Minimum 1 year experience developing complex, enterprise-level, web-applications - preferably with Adobe Flex
• Must have a working knowledge of Action Script 2 or 3 that can be quickly developed into an advanced knowledge.
• Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure in a deadline driven environment
• Must have experience with Flash 9.0, Actionscript 3, AS2
• Must have experience with XML Services and data feeds
• Must have experience object-oriented programming as well as User Interface design and development
• Must have experience with Flex 2 or 3
• Experience with Flash CS3, FLEX 2.0 and XML are pluses
• Prefer someone with framework familiarity / experience
