Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Can I advertise my services as a freelancer on this site?

RIAJobs.org is not the place to offer your services as a freelancer. Do feel free to contact companies with freelance job opportunities.

In the near future we will be launching the site RIAFreelancers.org where you will be able to offer your services to companies.

Question: Why is RIAJobs.org now a paid service?

RIAJobs.org was originally started in 2008 as a side-project by Peter Elst. Since that time the site has continued running on limited donations.

Since August 2010, Project Cocoon has taken over the project and is now treating it as a commercial project, giving us the opportunity to invest the time needed on site maintenance, bug fixes, developing mobile applications etc.

We are no longer accepting any advertising on the site and have set very democratic pricing for job posts. By charging a small fee to publish on the site we also believe we can better filter out genuine job opportunities.

Question: I have donated to RIAJobs.org in the past, do I need to pay to publish a new job opportunity?

Please get in touch when you've donated to the site before, we'll happily activate your job posts free of charge based on the amount given.
